Commonly called Swiss Cheese Plant, the Monstera Deliciosa is planted in one of our handmade terra cotta pots within soil that retains moisture but still drains well.
Keep the soil evenly moist and water from the top in sips and watch it drain. Do not dump water, the process should be slow and water should never sit in the bottom plate.
He prefers humidity, so consider investing in a humidifier and never let his soil dry completely. It’s also good to get into the habit of cleaning the leaves with a spray bottle or wet cloth. This will help avoid pest problems and keep him healthy.
