The Notocactus Magnificus is native to the dry and hot climates of Brazil and Uruguay. He prefers bright direct light and dry heat which will promote new growth in late Spring and Summer.

Commonly called Balloon Cactus, the Notocactus Magnificus is planted in one of our handmade terra cotta pots within porous soil that drains well.

Water in sips and watch it drain. Do not dump water, the process should be slow and water should never sit in the bottom plate.
